The Opportunity…

1 Hotel Central Park is in search of an Executive Chef, a first-class culinarian who is a proven, impactful, and natural leader to drive the culinary innovation for Jams Restaurant. About you…
  • Passionate about food and a minimum of 7 years progressive work experience with a min. of 4 years in an Exec. Sous/Chef de Cuisine or Executive Chef capacity
  • Stand-alone restaurant experience in New York or comparable urban market
  • Experience managing a high-volume scratch kitchen, generating a min. of $8M in gross revenue
  • Strong understanding of Farm-to-Table cuisine
  • A true passion for Sustainability
  • An expert in culinary operations, a strong leader and a proven track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance.
  • Excels at communication, both verbal and written.
  • Is flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
